Customer outreach event providing assistance for distressed homeowners

As the largest mortgage servicer in the U.S., providing solutions to distressed homeowners has been and remains a central focus for Bank of America. The economic downturn has made it challenging for some of our customers to keep up with their mortgage payments.

As part of our ongoing efforts to personally reach out to them we will be holding a customer outreach event in Orlando this month.  Customers seeking assistance will be able to meet face-to-face with Bank of America Home Loan Specialists to review options for modifications or other alternatives to foreclosure. We have identified distressed customers within a 100 mile radius of Orlando and have been actively contacting them – through direct mail, email, phone calls, text messages and in-person – to encourage their attendance at the event.

If you are aware of any of your constituents who are Bank of America mortgage customers and would benefit from speaking to one of our specialists, please encourage them to attend the event by scheduling an arrival time at www.bankofamerica.com/outreachevent or by calling 1.855.201.7426.

Event details are as follows and attached:
Bank of America Customer Outreach Event

Thursday, July 21 – Saturday, July 23, 2011
8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Orange County (Orlando) Convention Center
9800 International Drive
Orlando, FL  32819

In addition, I would like to invite you to visit the event to see our operations in-person. We would also appreciate the opportunity to have an open dialogue to share details of our performance, recent improvements we’ve made to our process, and how we’re working with customers through this cycle.

Nearly 9 of 10 of our customers are current on their mortgage payments. For those who are not, it is our priority to help them avoid foreclosure. We are committed to working with community leaders such as yourself to help homeowners in distress. Feel free to contact me at 407.420.2822 or by e-mail at Jodie.a.hardman@bankofamerica.com to arrange a time to walk-through the event with our team, or with any questions regarding the event.

Thank you for your continued partnership with Bank of America.

Sincerely,

Jodie Hardman
